According to information from the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital, on October 21, 2025, Ekaterina Bivol, known for her public activities, made unacceptable statements that insulted the Kyrgyz people.
In this regard, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which covers "Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious, and interregional enmity (hatred)." The punishment for this is imprisonment for a term of five to seven years.
On October 25, 2025, Ekaterina Igorevna Bivol, born in 1990, was charged in absentia under the aforementioned article.
The investigating judge of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek made a decision to place the accused under in absentia arrest in Institution No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and she has been declared wanted.
The investigation is ongoing.
