Criminal proceedings initiated against the ex-wife of the boxer
Lawyers in Kyrgyzstan have appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanding the initiation of a criminal case against Ekaterina Bivol, the former wife of the famous boxer Dmitry Bivol.
Ekaterina Bivol is accused of inciting racial, ethnic, national, and religious hatred.

1. Public actions aimed at inciting racial, ethnic, national, or religious hatred, as well as humiliating the dignity of certain nationalities, committed using mass media or the internet, –
may be punished by a fine of 1,000 to 2,000 calculation indicators or imprisonment for up to five years.
2. Similar actions committed:
1) with violence that does not threaten life and health, or under the threat of its application;
2) using official position;
3) by a group of individuals;
4) by a group of individuals by prior agreement;
5) by an organized group;
6) as part of a criminal community, –
are punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to seven years.
We remind you that Kyrgyz citizens demanded that Ekaterina Bivol be held accountable for insults directed against the Kyrgyz people. Recently, the boxer's ex-wife has repeatedly made negative statements about Kyrgyz and Kazakh people.
Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that a preliminary investigation has been initiated regarding the offensive statements made by Ekaterina Bivol against Kyrgyz and other nations.
