According to the agency's report, she extorted money for a favorable resolution of a case being investigated by the internal affairs authorities. The human rights activist represented the interests of the victim in various government institutions under a power of attorney. She is accused of demanding $50,000 for the release of one of the suspects, citing an allegedly existing agreement with representatives of the investigative service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

After her detention, the human rights activist was placed in institution No. 23 of the State Penitentiary Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
