The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan detained a human rights defender for extorting 50,000 US dollars.

During the investigation, it was revealed that "N.D.M." used a power of attorney to represent the interests of the victim in various instances, extorting 50 thousand dollars under the pretext of helping to release the detained individual. Currently, the State Committee for National Security is conducting an investigation and checking the involvement of law enforcement officers in this case.
