The information was confirmed by representatives of the local road safety department.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred on the night of October 27 to 28, around 01:30 in the Kök-Art microdistrict. Firefighters and an ambulance crew arrived at the scene.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
Inspectors noted that the identity of the car owner has not yet been established.
"Our duty station and ambulance service received a call that a 'Daewoo Lanos' with license plate 06KG975ABG caught fire in front of the Bayaman bridge," they said.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and successfully extinguished the fire, along with medical personnel. The car was parked and there were no people inside; however, the owner remains unknown.
After checking the database, it was found that the registered owner had previously sold the vehicle. Currently, the police are trying to establish the identity of the new owner," the officials added.
This information was also confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Jalal-Abad region.
Preliminary data suggests that the cause of the fire was a short circuit in the car's wiring.
