This video sparked active discussions among social media users. The incident happened on October 28. “Yes, our bus driver was indeed watching a video while driving. However, the claim that his distraction caused the accident is not true. The recording was made at 8:45,” he explained.
As soon as the driver noticed he was being filmed, he immediately turned off his phone and continued his work. About 20-25 minutes later, when he stopped on T. Baizakov Avenue to drop off passengers, another vehicle crashed into his bus. The driver who collided with the bus admitted his fault and agreed to compensate for the damage. Currently, the bus is under repair, and the driver who was distracted by the video has been temporarily suspended from work for two months,” added Maksutov.
