In Manas, a bus donated by China was handed over for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' security service. This became known during the extraordinary 18th session of the city council held on October 24.

Sultan Ergeshov, head of the city municipal administration, reported that the condition of the old buses in the area leaves much to be desired.

“Since the arrival of new buses provided in 2010, the old 'Yasin' models have not been used anymore. Most of them turned out to be inoperative, and we put 10 such buses up for auction. Today, the security department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Manas approached us with a request to transfer one bus. We plan to hand it over after coordinating with the deputies. Although this bus is already worn out, the service will be able to carry out its repairs independently,” he added.

In 2010, Manas received 16 buses from China as humanitarian aid, which were used for city routes.

For the past 3-4 years, these buses have not been in service. In 2023, in honor of the city day, the head transferred another 50 buses as a gift and allocated funds from the city budget for the purchase of 10 electric buses.
