A pedestrian was hit by a bus
On October 25, around 21:05, a tragic incident occurred at the Western bus station: a bus struck a man who, unfortunately, did not survive.
The Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure provided a video recording from the bus's dashcam, which captured the moment the victim, a man aged 35-40, fell at the bus stop.
At the time of the incident, the bus was already at the stop, and the fallen man ended up under the rear wheels of the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the scene. Witnesses of the incident report that he was in a state of intoxication, which is also noted in the department's statement.
This incident has been registered in the automated information system of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital.
The bus has been placed in a tow yard, and necessary examinations have been appointed to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
