At the opening, the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, was present and assessed the updated state of the enterprise.
“When I arrived, the condition of the bus depot upset me greatly — it was in a neglected state. However, in two months we managed to achieve significant changes. I personally checked the buses and trolleybuses — all of them have been repaired. In the future, we must eliminate cash transactions between drivers and passengers by implementing electronic payment or a system of working through controllers. The driver should focus only on driving. By the end of January, electric buses are expected, and about 30 of them will start operating in the city,” noted J. Toktorbaev.
According to the provided information, the building has been completely renovated, including the facade and interior spaces. Water pumps have also been replaced, and landscaping work has been carried out.
Currently, the enterprise employs 360 people, and the total number of buses and trolleybuses is 181. At present, there are 2 trolleybus routes and 9 bus routes in operation.
