According to the local administration, the renovation of the area where Korean cars are sold has been completed. The opening ceremony was attended by deputies of the city council and city leadership.
In the new area, which can accommodate about 1500 cars, all necessary conditions have been created. Reconstruction was also carried out in other zones of the car market.
This year, the area where the car market is located was reclassified to a commercial category, allowing for a complete reconstruction and modernization of the infrastructure:
- new asphalt has been laid;
- two new canopies have been erected;
- new commercial buildings have been constructed;
- 31 dining areas with a total area of 108 square meters have been created;
- communications for water supply, sewage, and gas supply have been installed;
- modern automatic barriers have been set up;
- the area is fenced with a metal fence and illuminated;
- a video surveillance system has been implemented;
- the area of the car market has been increased to 2.5 hectares, allowing for the accommodation of up to 4200 cars, whereas previously it could hold about 2500-2600;
- an additional car wash and sanitary facilities have been built.
With the transition to a digital service system, cash payments have been eliminated, and all transactions are conducted electronically. This has led to a significant increase in the car market's revenue: while the annual profit used to be 20-25 million soms, approximately 35 million soms have been collected in the last three months after the renovation.
