According to him, a wait of 10-15 minutes is acceptable, considering the current traffic jams on the roads.
“The bus cannot simply fly over the traffic jams; it participates in the traffic flow just like other vehicles. We are carefully analyzing the situation. If we receive complaints about a lack of buses on specific routes in the evening, we try to increase the number of vehicles on those lines,” emphasized Omurzakov.
He added that the control over the arrival of buses at the depot is strict.

“A driver cannot just show up for work and return without a valid reason. In such cases, both the technical condition of the bus and the health of the driver are checked. We understand that everyone has different circumstances, such as funerals, but this does not happen regularly. If a driver returns to the depot without explanation, it is reviewed by the disciplinary committee,” added the chief engineer.
Regarding incidents with buses, Omurzakov noted that this is due to the overall level of culture among road traffic participants.
It is worth noting that many residents of Bishkek regularly express dissatisfaction with the lack of public transport, especially during peak hours.
