Atai Omurzakov was born in 1990 in the city of Karakol in the Issyk-Kul region. He lives in Bishkek and is a third-year student at the Academy of Management under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. He has been dancing since 2005. Last year (2010), at a contemporary dance festival in Kazakhstan, Atai was recognized as the "Best Dancer in the Central Asian region." Before participating in the Russian project "Minute of Fame," he won a local equivalent program called "Barakelde."
Atai started dancing relatively "recently" - just 5 years ago. He was drawn to a style called electroboogie (upper breakdance), but the most interesting thing is that he is a professional in his field. He performs with original programs in clubs, at corporate events, concerts, weddings, etc. In addition to dancing, he is interested in sports, sculpting, and painting.
His first participation was in the Russian contest "Minute of Fame," where he took second place, and after that, he took third place in the Ukrainian program "Ukraine's Got Talent 3" in the spring of 2011. Earlier, Atai won an international dance tournament in Slovakia in 2011 at the end of the year, with a prize of 100,000 euros and a flight to Las Vegas. But recently, for unexpected reasons, he left the stage throughout 2012. Atai said:
“I want to focus on my own business, open my studio, help other guys, and for that, I need time. While dancing, I won't be able to dedicate time to them.” It is still unknown where Omurzakov plans to open his dance school.

Atai also reported that he wants to "promote" the dance group "Tumar KR." It consists of: Solto Esengulov and brothers Salamat and Azamat Abdrakhmanov.
The trio "Tumar KR" appeared on the Austrian equivalent of the Russian "Minute of Fame" in June 2011.
The group was created on April 1, 2011.
