19-year-old dancer from Bishkek amazed the judges of the famous American show "America's Got Talent"
A 19-year-old dancer from Bishkek amazed the judges of the famous American show "America’s Got Talent." This was reported by blogger Kairat Bekmambetov on his blog.
Solto Esengulov participated in the popular television show "America’s Got Talent." With his elements in the style of Bruce Lee and robot-like movements, he impressed the famous judges.
In 2013, Solto Esengulov's family won a green card (residency) and settled in Brooklyn. After befriending local kids, Solto continued to practice dancing intensively. After winning a local dance championship, the organizers advised Solto to audition for one of America's main shows - "America’s Got Talent." Dreams became a reality. Upon learning about the audition in Los Angeles, Solto went there and successfully passed the audition in front of the project's producers.
“I received a call from the show's representatives and was told to come to Los Angeles for the television casting. I was to perform in front of global celebrities such as actor Howie Mandel, British singer from the "Spice Girls" Melanie Brown, American television host Howard Stern, and supermodel Heidi Klum. I was nervous, but I performed wonderfully. The audience and judges applauded standing, all the judges said 'Yes!', and I moved on to the next stage of the project. After that, I went through a second audition in New York, but for some reason, the organizers do not publish my video materials in full, cutting out entire tricks and performances. Perhaps the hostility between America and Russia due to the crisis in Ukraine is affecting this. Kyrgyzstan is somehow automatically associated with the Russian Federation, which leads to various oddities and obstacles,” Solto shares his impressions.
Our compatriots, including the famous dancer Atai Omurzakov, are calling on Kyrgyzstani people to help their fellow countryman and vote for his video on the video portal YouTube.
“Friends, let’s support our compatriot Solto Esengulov, who is the first Kyrgyz to break into the world-famous television competition 'America’s Got Talent.' We need to gather as many views as possible and, preferably, more comments,” calls Atai Omurzakov.
