Residents of this settlement reported this.
According to them, issues with lighting, transportation, and roads have not yet been resolved in the settlement.
One of the parents, Zeynep Boobekova, shared that children reach school under dangerous conditions.
“In the morning, at 6-7 o'clock, the children walk to the bus stop to get to school. It is still dark at this time. Students walk in the dark to catch the minibus. We walk for more than 30 minutes. Those who have cars drive, and those who don’t walk. We cannot send the children alone — it’s dark and dangerous. Therefore, we go with the children. We need to cross a ravine; it would be good to install lighting there. We have repeatedly addressed the issues of the road, lighting, and transportation. When we contacted the mayor's office, we were told that there is no permit for the route, and there is no sidewalk,” she said.
The head of the municipal territory of Alymbek Datka, Akbarali Zunduev, reported that this settlement was previously a dacha area and consists of two villages.
“Mainly, lighting has been installed on the streets. The distance from the Edelweiss settlement to Tulip is about 3 kilometers. No one lives there; the path goes through hills. Lighting this road will require significant expenses, so the company ‘OshSvet’ plans to include this in the budget for next year. We have repeatedly contacted the department regarding transportation. Since the area is hilly, the traffic police have not yet issued a permit, citing non-compliance with safety requirements. One kilometer of road in the Edelweiss settlement has been paved, and next year we plan to approach the mayor's office to pave the road to Tulip,” Zunduev said.
- According to information, the new development Tulip was established in 2015. Currently, about 300 people live there, of which about 50 are schoolchildren who study in city schools.
