The Bishkek City Hall has notified garage owners that they have 5 days to independently dismantle their structures on municipal land.
Among the objects slated for demolition are:
- 701 garages located at the intersection of Repina and Kosmicheskaya streets (Garage Cooperative No. 43). Of this number, 93 garages have already been dismantled by their owners. The freed-up areas will be used for the construction of kindergartens, which will improve infrastructure and create new opportunities for families with children.
- 422 garages on P. Lulumba Street, 48. Currently, more than 10 garages have already been removed. A new square is planned for this location, which will become a green space for the recreation and walks of city residents.
