The theoretical part of the exercises started on October 22 and gathered representatives from various organizations, including the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, as well as medical and municipal services, alongside city civil defense units.
At the TPP-2 site, the following were deployed:
• main command post and crisis center,
• Bishkek civil defense department,
• press center,
• municipal enterprises "Tazalyk" and "Bishkekzelenstroy",
• engineering, veterinary, chemical, and radiation services,
• commandant's headquarters, medical units,
• temporary accommodation points for citizens, children's departments, as well as field kitchens, baths, and showers.
The mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, visited the exercises to assess the readiness level of municipal services for a possible earthquake.
As part of the exercises, a mobile hospital was also deployed, which includes two operating rooms and is capable of performing up to 20 surgeries daily if necessary.
Organizing such large-scale exercises helps to check the coordination of actions among all involved structures, enhances the readiness of services for potential emergencies, and ensures the safety of the capital's residents.
