These events were conducted by the decree of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, who also holds the position of head of civil defense, and according to the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Boobek Azhikeev. The main focus during the exercises was on preparing civil defense services for potential earthquakes.
At the final meeting, the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, emphasized the importance of comprehensive work to strengthen cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations to enhance readiness for emergencies and ensure rapid response. He also thanked the Ministry of Emergency Situations staff for their professionalism and contribution to the development of the civil protection system.
According to the press center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the main goal of the exercises is to improve the effectiveness of the state civil defense system and implement state policy in the area of protecting the population from emergency situations.
