An incident occurred involving a training drone, which reportedly belongs to Military Aviation Plant No. 2. A reconnaissance mini-drone Wizjer, whose supplies to the Polish army began in May, fell on civilian territory. The crash damaged a vehicle of the Polish Post, as well as two trucks, as clarified by the mayor of Inowrocław, Arkadiusz Fajok, on the PiK radio station.
According to Major of the Military Gendarmerie Dominik Majka, Poland Post will make a decision on compensation in accordance with the Civil Code, as the operator managing the drone had insurance in case of loss of communication. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Former Deputy Minister of National Defense Bartosz Kownacki noted that this is already the second case of a military drone falling in a similar situation. Authorities assured that the incident did not pose a threat to civilian safety.
