Today, special lessons and events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the United Nations are taking place in all educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan. Students are exploring the significance of the UN in maintaining peace, developing international cooperation, and protecting human rights, as well as highlighting Kyrgyzstan's contribution to the activities of this organization.

In Bishkek, at secondary school No. 100 named after Baidildy Sarnygoev, a class hour was held, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov and the UN Resident Coordinator in Kyrgyzstan, Antje Grave.

Speaking to the students, Edil Baisalov emphasized:

“UN Day is celebrated in all schools, as it is important for the youth of Kyrgyzstan to know about the activities of the United Nations and to take pride in our country being a full member. Each of us—both children and adults—bears responsibility for protecting the environment, respecting human rights, and strengthening peace on our planet.”

As part of the event, students showcased their creative works, prepared displays, and short presentations reflecting the significance of the UN for peace and the future of youth.
