On September 4, 2014, the founder and board member of the Italian foundation "Romualdo Del Bianco" (Romualdo Del Bianco), Corinna Del Bianco, handed over a memorandum of cooperation in the field of culture and tourism to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akimbek Tekeshov.
The ministry has been collaborating with the foundation for several years, and the purpose of this meeting was to introduce the new board member, one of the foundation's founders and the successor of her father, the president of the "Romualdo Del Bianco" foundation, Paolo Del Bianco, Corinna Del Bianco. In addition, the memorandum was presented and further international cooperation was discussed.
The main goal of the "Romualdo Del Bianco" foundation is to create processes of international integration by organizing international-level events involving youth from around the world to strengthen friendship and exchange experiences in the field of culture and art.
During the meeting, the recently elected board member and founder of the foundation, Corinna Del Bianco, was introduced to the participants. She specializes in architecture and holds a PhD from the Milan Polytechnic University. She is also the Secretary General of the international institute "Life Beyond Tourism," which was established in late 2013.
Corinna Del Bianco and the Secretary General of the foundation, Simone Giomette, outlined the prospects for cooperation on behalf of the foundation, proposing to organize lectures and training on the subject of "Life Beyond Tourism" for students in Kyrgyzstan with the involvement of trainers from Italy, and handed over a study related to the project to the Kyrgyz side, recommending its use in future work.
State Secretary Akimbek Tekeshov expressed gratitude to Corinna Del Bianco and emphasized that the ministry's activities encompass the fields of culture and tourism, which are the main sectors for attracting tourists in Italy. "Italy is one of the first countries in the world that attracts tourists due to its rich historical and cultural heritage. Kyrgyzstan also has many historical and cultural monuments, which are visited by a large number of foreign tourists annually. We would be happy to utilize your research and experience for the development of these areas. The ministry is also conducting an information policy in the republic, which allows for more effective interaction among the structures within the agency."
