In Kyrgyzstan, special events and lessons dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the United Nations are taking place in all educational institutions. The government press service reported that students explored the importance of the UN's role in maintaining peace, international cooperation, and protecting human rights, as well as learning about Kyrgyzstan's contribution to the organization's activities.

At Secondary School No. 100 named after Baydildy Sarnygoev in Bishkek, a class hour was held, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov and the UN Resident Coordinator in Kyrgyzstan, Antje Grave.

“UN Day is celebrated in all schools so that students in Kyrgyzstan know about the United Nations and take pride in our country being a full member. Each of us, regardless of age, bears responsibility for protecting the environment, respecting human rights, and strengthening peace on the planet,” the official statement said.

During the events, students presented their creative works, displays, and brief presentations on the significance of the UN for peace and the future of youth.
