Russian aircraft will join the aviation group based at the Ayni airfield, 30 km from Dushanbe, during the exercises.

As part of the preparation for the exercise, the An-124-100 "Ruslan" transport aircraft delivered Mi-8 transport-combat helicopters to Dushanbe on March 10, and on March 11, a flight of Su-25SM attack aircraft flew in from the CSTO airbase in Kant.
Russian aircraft will be part of the aviation group based at the Ayni airfield, 30 km from Dushanbe, during the exercises.
The crews will provide air support for the practical actions of motorized rifle units and special forces, practicing missile and bomb strikes on the base camps and depots of conditional illegal armed formations in mountainous terrain.
Military command bodies from the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan and the Central Military District, motorized rifle, tank, and artillery units, special forces, as well as parachute and assault groups will participate in the joint exercise.
Military personnel from both countries will work on issues of interaction in neutralizing conditional illegal armed formations, destroying their bases, depots, and other facilities.
