New Trolleybus Routes Opened in Bishkek

Two new trolleybus routes No. 2 and No. 3 have been opened in the city of Bishkek.

This was reported by the city administration.

Route No. 2 operates 11 trolleybuses with the route: Alamedin Market – Meat Processing Plant. The route starts near Alamedin Market, runs along Jibek Jolu Avenue, and then ascends along Shopokova Street. However, the return journey will be via Abdrakhmanov (formerly Soviet). The city administration promises that the wait will not exceed 10 minutes.

Route No. 3 will have 15 trolleybuses operating with the route: Microdistrict "Djal" – Institute of Agriculture. The length of the route is 42 kilometers. The maximum waiting time is 10 minutes.

Due to road reconstruction, trolleybus routes No. 5, 9, and 14 are temporarily closed.

The routes of trolleybus No. 7 and No. 8 have been partially modified.

Trolleybus No. 7. The length of the route is 40.6 kilometers, with 13 trolleybuses operating. The maximum waiting time is 11 minutes.

Trolleybus No. 8. Like trolleybus No. 2, it will descend to Jibek Jolu via Abdrakhmanov and return along Shopokova. The length of the route is 27 kilometers. The number of trolleybuses on the line is 13, with a waiting time of no more than 9 minutes.
