An incident occurred in the Kemin district involving a driver in a state of intoxication who attempted to evade traffic police inspectors in a minibus, resulting in an accident that injured a police officer.
According to reports from the press service of the traffic police, on October 28, in the village of Orlovka in the Kemin district, inspectors stopped a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. The driver was identified as Z.A.Z., born in 1989, who was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
“While the police were preparing to tow the vehicle to a parking lot, the driver managed to escape. On the bypass road Bishkek - Naryn - Torugart, he ignored the inspectors' demands and, at the 90th kilometer of the highway, caused an accident, hitting a law enforcement officer who sustained minor injuries. Currently, the vehicle has been placed in a detention lot, and the driver has been apprehended and taken to the investigative department of the Kemin District Department of Internal Affairs. The investigation is ongoing,” the department reported.
