Employees of the Patrol Service of the police in Bishkek stopped a vehicle being driven by a driver in a state of alcohol intoxication.
During the document check, one of the passengers began to behave aggressively, insulting the police officers with foul language and refusing to comply with their lawful demands. Despite repeated warnings from law enforcement, he continued to disrupt public order, which led to his detention and delivery to the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District.
The detained individual turned out to be a 27-year-old resident of the capital. A protocol was drawn up against him under Article 126 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic (petty hooliganism). The man was placed in a temporary detention cell, and a medical examination confirmed his state of alcohol intoxication.
The police remind citizens of the importance of maintaining public order and respecting the demands of law enforcement officers. Such actions are subject to both administrative and criminal liability.
Furthermore, the department noted that driving a vehicle while intoxicated is a serious violation of the law and poses a direct threat to the life and safety of other citizens.
