Ekaterina Bivol has been charged in absentia, a measure of restraint in the form of detention has been assigned to her, and she has been declared wanted.
According to the sanctions of this article, she could face a prison term of five to seven years.
It is worth noting that Ekaterina Bivol, the former wife of Dmitry Bivol, published a video on social media in which she made offensive statements about people of various nationalities.
Many users condemned her actions, noting that such statements contradict the principles of respect and tolerance.
Lawyers in Kyrgyzstan have also appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanding that Ekaterina Bivol be held criminally accountable.
