Sabit was born in the village of Amanbaev, located in the Aitmatov district. After completing his studies at the Ch. Aitmatov Secondary School in 2007, he served in the army. In 2010, he enrolled in the Faculty of Traffic Safety at the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport, and Architecture (KGUSTA) and graduated in 2015. “I dreamed of becoming a traffic inspector since childhood. I started my career in the police and then moved to the traffic safety service. Initially, I worked as an inspector in the propaganda and agitation group at the Talas Regional Department. Now I am a police captain,” he shared.
Sabit Omorov noted that the work of an inspector requires great dedication. “We work under any circumstances — regardless of holidays and personal problems. This is our profession, and we perform it with full responsibility. Our families understand and support us,” he added.
Sometimes unusual situations occur on duty. One such incident happened a few years ago when Sabit and his colleagues detained a drunk driver in Talas. After the arrest, they took him for a medical examination in the narcology department, where they had to wait for their turn. At one point, the driver asked to use the restroom, and the officers waited by the door. They were astonished when a completely sober person emerged from the restroom.
After reviewing the video of the arrest, the inspectors noticed a mole on the face of the detained individual. It turned out that the driver had a twin brother, and they had switched places in the restroom. The officers returned and arrested both. Ultimately, the drunk driver, realizing that his deception had been uncovered, returned to his car and admitted his guilt.
Sabit Omorov is raising three sons and a daughter with his wife.
He received the vacation package to Turkey in 2025 for his outstanding achievements at work.
