Among the participants were both veterans of the Batken events and families of fallen soldiers, as well as representatives of local authorities. At the beginning of the event, those present laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the soldiers who died in the Batken region, after which a prayer was read. The participants emphasized that the heroism of those who gave their lives for their homeland will remain in the memory of the people and expressed hope for a peaceful future for the region.
During the Batken war, 122 people from the Ak-Suu district fought, three of whom were killed. Their names are: Urmat Turdubekov from the village of Toktogul, Tügölbay Bukarbaev from the village of Shapak, and Ishenaaly Esenbekov from the village of Jany-Aryk.
