According to the prosecutor's office, on October 4, 2025, the head of the department for Osh and the Osh region, S.E., along with the chief inspector, M.K., conducted inspections of retail outlets and meat shops without the appropriate permits. During these inspections, they extorted money from entrepreneurs, citing "identified violations."
The criminal case has been opened under the article of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic for "Abuse of Official Position." Currently, investigative activities are ongoing.
