An criminal case has been initiated against the suspect
Employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) detained a suspect in inciting interethnic and interregional hostility.
According to a press release from the state committee, during monitoring of Instagram, a user was found who posted materials with provocative content that contributed to interregional hostility.
Based on this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning incitement of racial, ethnic, and religious hatred.
The detainee, known as T.I.K., has been placed in pre-trial detention center No. 1 by the decision of the Lenin District Court until November 21.
