Employees of the GKNB detained a citizen named T.I.K, who posted provocative materials on Instagram that contributed to inciting interregional hatred. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
This information was revealed during monitoring conducted by the GKNB, aimed at curbing the spread of destructive messages in the media and social networks.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning incitement of hatred on racial, ethnic, national, religious, or interregional grounds.
The court determined that the detainee will remain in custody until November 21 of this year.
The GKNB reminds that there is liability for spreading provocative information in the media and on the internet, and urges citizens to refrain from actions that may provoke interethnic and interregional conflicts.
