The preliminary investigation by the GKNB revealed that these individuals illegally transferred municipal land plots located in Shamaldy-Sai, as well as in the villages of Tendik, Chuyut-Sai, and Kyzyl-Alma, which until 2024 were part of Tash-Kumyr, into private hands. The suspects are believed to have organized fictitious auctions with deliberately undervalued prices, resulting in significant damage to the municipality's budget.
The statement emphasizes that among the identified facts is the allocation of land for commercial facilities in areas where this is prohibited, including water protection zones and sanitary protection strips along railways.
On October 22, according to the GKNB, the vice-mayor of Tash-Kumyr, K. N. A., and the director of the municipal property department, K. U. A., were detained and placed in the agency's detention center.
Investigative actions are currently ongoing to determine the involvement of other officials in the aforementioned offenses, as stated in the official report.
