The press service of the regional police reported that on October 26, during another raid against illegal fishing, officers of the tourist-ecological police detained two residents of the village of Bar-Bulak who were fishing at the Kyzyl-Tuu water body in the Ton district.
The detainees, K.Z., born in 1981, and K.M., born in 1971, had two synthetic nets and six fish confiscated from them. Additionally, during a search of K.Z.'s house, four more fish and two synthetic nets were found.
This incident was registered at the Ton District Police Department, and a criminal case was initiated against the detainees under Article 310 of the Criminal Code, concerning illegal hunting or fishing of fish and aquatic animals.
According to the decision of the district court, the suspects were arrested for one month and placed in a temporary detention facility. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
