Two men suspected of fraudulent activities have been detained in the Suzak district, reports the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Jalal-Abad region.
According to the information, on October 24, a local resident approached the police, reporting that during the autumn of 2023, two men, Oibek and Ulukbek, made an oral agreement with him for the sale of a 5.5 sot land plot. They received 1 million soms from him but soon deceived him and disappeared.
A criminal case has been initiated against them under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, the suspects were detained: U.K., born in 1969, and O.S., born in 1977, both residents of the Suzak district. They have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The court has decided to keep the suspects in custody for a period of two months.
Currently, investigative measures are ongoing.
