On October 26, the deputy of the president's representative office, Mira Seydikirimova, along with veterans who participated in those events, laid flowers at the monument in the main square of Talas and held a prayer in memory of the fallen.
During the ceremony, M. Seydikirimova and Gulmira Orozalieva, head of the social sector of the Talas city hall, were awarded the medals "Ata Mekenge - Kyzmat Uchun" from the republican council of veterans, as well as badges "Milget, Namys, Ata Meken".
More than 20 veterans who participated in the Batken events took part in the event.
The celebration was accompanied by performances of patriotic songs and music, as well as the presentation of awards to veterans and participants of the events.
