A requiem rally was held in Naryn dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the events in Batken.
According to the city authorities, the event was attended by the deputy representative of the president in the Naryn region, Aydana Imanalieva, the deputy mayor of Naryn, Elnura Asangazy kyzy, as well as military personnel, veterans, organization leaders, and local schoolchildren.
67,000 soms were allocated from the municipal budget for the organization of this event.
"Veterans received financial assistance of 1,000 soms, and the families of fallen warriors received 3,000 soms. Those veterans who defended the country's borders and served in these areas were awarded Honorary Certificates," the statement clarified.
