Turmush correspondent reports that the new kindergarten accommodates 120 children and includes groups that were previously located in specialized preschool institution No. 11.
The kindergarten is designed to have six groups, each of which will accept 20 children. Each group is equipped with a sleeping area and playroom, as well as a restroom. The building provides hot and cold water supply, and comfortable conditions have been created – spacious and cozy rooms.
Local residents have positively received the opening of the new kindergarten, as the number of children needing speech therapy assistance is increasing every year. One parent, whose children attended kindergarten No. 11, noted: "Previously, we were forced to stay in a small one-story building where the rooms were cramped. Now we have spacious, bright groups, and this event has become a real gift for all parents."
Among the new amenities are a nurse's office, separate rooms for speech therapists, and a kitchen, as well as a landscaped area with playgrounds.
Specialized preschool institution No. 11 was previously located in a building that did not meet modern requirements. About 100 children were raised there in three groups, but there were no necessary offices or medical personnel.
The President of the country, Sadyr Japarov, visited the kindergarten after its major renovation on November 1 of this year.
This building was constructed in 1972 as a municipal kindergarten and was transformed into a bank in 1991. In 2025, the Presidential Administration conducted a major renovation, resulting in the institution being completely updated according to modern standards.
Turmush reported on November 20, 2024 that the Cabinet of Ministers transferred the building to the State Agency for Management of State Property. This decision was made on November 12, 2024.
According to Tazabek it was reported that the building was transferred to the municipal property of the Karakol city administration.
The transferred properties are intended to address local issues and be used as a kindergarten.
The building is a non-residential premises with an area of 942.8 square meters on a land plot of 5604 square meters.
The value of this property is estimated at 30 million 773.2 thousand soms.
