On November 5, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, arrived in the United States on a working visit at the invitation of Donald Trump.
The head of state’s plane landed at Andrews Air Force Base.
At the meeting, President Sadyr Japarov was welcomed by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Paul Kapoor and other high-ranking officials.
A ceremonial guard was formed for his reception, holding the flags of both countries, and a red carpet was laid out.
As part of the visit, Sadyr Japarov will participate in another meeting of heads of state in the "C5+1" format, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the dialogue platform and discussing prospects for cooperation between Central Asia and the United States.
A bilateral meeting between the President of Kyrgyzstan and U.S. President Donald Trump is also planned.
