On November 6, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, concluded his working visit to the USA, holding a meeting with James Risch, the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, as well as with other senators.
During the discussions, the main focus was on issues of political and inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as trade, economic, and investment relations between the countries.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized the importance of the United States as a significant partner in international politics and expressed a desire to further strengthen friendly ties and fruitful cooperation.
The President also noted that the development of inter-parliamentary relations could significantly contribute to strengthening bilateral partnerships.
He added that cooperation between parliaments opens new horizons for sharing experiences in legislative activities and strengthening political dialogue.
Discussing economic opportunities, Japarov pointed out the potential for growth in trade and investment and expressed Kyrgyzstan's readiness to cooperate with American investors, particularly highlighting the conditions created for their work in the republic.
James Risch, for his part, noted that political dialogue and inter-parliamentary interaction contribute to more effective communication with representatives of the business community.
The senators also noted Kyrgyzstan's successful experience in resolving border issues with its neighbors.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their readiness to deepen partnership relations and confirmed their intention to develop constructive cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
