At the 75th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, taking place in Copenhagen, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erkin Checheybaev, met with representatives of the Swedish delegation.
During the discussions, issues related to future cooperation in the field of digital health were addressed. The parties considered the development of regulatory legal acts, cybersecurity issues, as well as the possibilities of implementing artificial intelligence in medical practices.
Checheybaev expressed his readiness to continue the dialogue and thanked his Swedish colleagues for their openness and willingness to share experiences. He emphasized the importance of WHO as a platform for international cooperation aimed at strengthening health systems.
