On October 24, the 2nd meeting of the ministers of science, technology, innovation, and industry of the Turkic States Organization (TSO) took place in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, with the participation of the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov.
During his speech, the minister emphasized the importance and growing role of the TSO, which encompasses a wide range of areas for cooperation among states.
Particular attention at the meeting was paid to key issues in the fields of industry, science, and technology, the solutions to which will have a significant impact on the development of economic ties.
At the conclusion of the event, a Communiqué and an updated Action Plan for cooperation in the fields of technology, science, and industry for 2025-2026 were signed, which includes priority areas such as:
- research and development,
- artificial intelligence,
- digital transformation in the manufacturing sector,
- innovative ecosystem,
- entrepreneurship,
- metrology,
- standardization and conformity assessment,
- product safety,
- industry,
- intellectual property.
