Today, on October 14, 2014, a meeting took place between the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almazbek Atambayev, and members of the Commission for the Development of Historical Science under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region.
During his speech, the Head of State noted that the establishment of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region is one of the main pages in the modern history of the country. “Exactly 90 years ago, the foundation was laid, thanks to which Kyrgyz statehood was revived in 1991,” said Almazbek Atambayev.
According to President Almazbek Atambayev, with the creation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, conditions arose for the revival of national culture, the development of education, literature, art, the emergence of a new economy and industry, large-scale agricultural production, and the construction of social infrastructure.
