From October 21 to 23 of this year, a delegation from the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan, led by Deputy Chairman Bakyt Jienbekov, visited the Swiss company SICPA. The purpose of the trip was to study the company's experience and develop cooperation.
During the visit, representatives of the Tax Service held meetings with the management and specialists of SICPA, where they discussed opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation and new approaches to the digitalization of tax administration.
At these meetings, international standards for control and traceability in the field of precious metals and goods were presented, as well as laboratory analysis methods for identifying counterfeit and illegal products.
SICPA also showcased its innovative solutions in areas such as natural resource management, revenue mobilization, digital identification, information security, and brand protection.
Representatives of the STS noted that the company's technologies could significantly increase tax collection in Kyrgyzstan and reduce the volume of counterfeit and shadow trade, contributing to transparent and effective management of state revenues.
Bakyt Jienbekov, the head of the delegation, emphasized that cooperation with SICPA would contribute to the modernization of the country's tax system and bring it in line with international standards. He expressed hope for the continuation of mutually beneficial interaction.
