The delegation of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Deputy Chairman Bakyt Dzhienbekov, held a working meeting with representatives of the Swiss company SICPA.
During the visit, the tax officials discussed with the management and experts of SICPA the possibilities for joint cooperation in the field of digitalization of tax administration and other areas.
International standards for the control and traceability of precious metals were presented at the meetings, as well as methods for laboratory determination of counterfeit and illegal products.
The company also showcased its innovations related to revenue mobilization, natural resource management, digital identification, as well as ensuring information security and brand protection.
Representatives of the STS noted that the technologies developed by SICPA could significantly increase tax collection in Kyrgyzstan and reduce the level of counterfeit and shadow trade, which, in turn, would ensure transparent management of state revenues.
Bakyt Dzhienbekov, the head of the delegation, emphasized the importance of developing cooperation with SICPA for the modernization of Kyrgyzstan's tax system in accordance with international standards. He expressed confidence in the continuation of interaction between the parties.
