During his working visit to the Talas region, President Sadyr Japarov participated in the laying of a "time capsule" for the upcoming reconstruction of the national historical and cultural complex "Manas Ordo." This information was provided by the president's press secretary, Askat Alagozov.

According to Sadyr Japarov, the complex was established in 1976 as a literary and ethnographic museum, received the status of the "Kumbaz of Manas" museum-reserve in 1990, and then, in honor of the 1000th anniversary of the epic "Manas," became the "Manas Ordo" complex.

"Since its creation, the complex has not undergone significant updates. The current reconstruction will be the most extensive renewal in the last three decades. Our main task is to make 'Manas Ordo' a unique and authentic center of culture and spirituality. The main facilities of the complex, such as the museum, the kumbaz, the entrance group, the center of Manas studies, the park, and the statues, require repair and updating," the president noted.

He also added that as part of the renewal, a new administrative building, a congress hall for conferences and cultural events, guest houses, and a gallery for artistic and craft creativity will be constructed.

According to the president, the reconstruction of the complex will increase the tourist attractiveness of the region and raise interest in Kyrgyz culture and the epic of Manas.

Information about the budget and timeline for the project's implementation has not yet been disclosed.
