The President noted that a number of significant projects aimed at promoting the socio-economic development of the country are being implemented in Kyrgyzstan as part of cooperation with Japan. These initiatives, he said, have a serious impact on improving the living conditions of citizens and strengthening ties between the two states.
Sadyr Japarov also expressed satisfaction with the increase in the number of Japanese tourists visiting Kyrgyzstan, noting that this has become possible thanks to the ambassador's efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and promote the country's tourism potential in Japan.
Hidetaka, for his part, thanked the president for the support and warm attitude shown to him throughout his mission. He emphasized that Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation has reached a new level, especially after the official visit of the president to Japan, which was an important step for the further development of relations between the countries.
The ambassador also noted the increase in tourist flow from Japan to Kyrgyzstan and reminded of the meeting that took place in Tokyo in 2023 with representatives of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), which contributed to promoting Kyrgyzstan as an attractive destination for Japanese citizens.
Hidetaka emphasized that Japan considers Kyrgyzstan an important partner in the region and intends to continue supporting cooperation in the political, economic, humanitarian, and cultural spheres.
