During the conversation, Batzetsgeg noted that this year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Cuba. She also expressed satisfaction with the stable development of traditionally friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries in areas such as politics, education, healthcare, culture, and sports.
The minister thanked Jorge Rodriguez for his active efforts to strengthen relations between Mongolia and Cuba throughout his diplomatic mission. In recognition of his work, Batzetsgeg presented him with the "Altan Gerege" medal — a traditional award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia — and wished him success and good health in his future endeavors.
For his part, Ambassador Rodriguez expressed sincere gratitude for the warm welcome he received from the Mongolian people, as well as for the support and active cooperation from the government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
