Minister Batzetsgeg emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with Canada, regarded as a significant "third neighbor" for Mongolia in North America. She highlighted the need to develop a "comprehensive partnership" between the two countries through expanding cooperation in areas such as trade, education, and humanitarian aid.
Additionally, the minister stressed the significance of strengthening ties between the provinces and territories of Mongolia and Canada.
Ambassador Dust, in turn, conveyed greetings from Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand and confirmed his readiness to develop the partnership between the two countries, based on shared democratic values. He expressed his intention to deepen cooperation in key areas such as agriculture, energy, and transportation, as well as to continue interaction in the mining sector and expand support for projects and programs implemented by Canada in Mongolia.
Minister Batzetsgeg extended her best wishes to Ambassador Dust in his diplomatic activities and confirmed the full support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
