She noted that the number of students choosing faculties that prepare such specialists has significantly decreased.
“Nevertheless, there is a clear need to continue working in this direction. More than 87% of the population of Kyrgyzstan speaks Russian fluently. Schools with Russian language instruction show high results. We do not diminish the importance of the Russian language, as it is official in our country. Many graduates who received the 'gold certificate' based on the results of the ORT graduated from Russian-speaking schools,” Kendirbaeva added.
