At the online event dedicated to the opening of the second international exhibition of logistics, transport, and warehouse equipment KyrgyzTransLogistic 2025, the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Arzybek Kozhoshev, reported significant progress in Kyrgyzstan's logistics sector.

He emphasized the importance of such events for establishing cooperation between government structures, businesses, and international partners, as well as for technology exchange. This is part of the export strategy of the countries and contributes to strengthening their economic potential.

In 2024, the republic achieved significant successes: over 1,000 kilometers of roads were built, improving internal and transit routes. Additionally, more than 30 trade and logistics centers are currently operational, and nine more are planned to open by the end of the year, Kozhoshev noted.

From 2021 to 2024, the volume of cargo transportation increased by more than 21%. According to experts' forecasts, by 2030, the export market will grow at least fivefold.

The priorities of the Eurasian Economic Commission remain the integration of transport systems, the development of multimodal transport, and attracting private investments in strategic infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.

“The implementation of this project will significantly expand export opportunities and create a transit land route between Asia and Europe, which will be a powerful stimulus for the region's economic growth,” he added.
